After arriving in Nairobi you will visit the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, which is renowned for its diverse wildlife, undulating hills and rolling grasslands. Masai Mara is not the only iconic destination that you will visit during this safari, as you will then proceed to visit many stunning locations across 15 days like the Lake Manyara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli, Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater and more!

Day 1: Arrival
Arrive in Nairobi, where you’re met with our staff representative and transferred to your city hotel-Sarova Panafric Hotel on bed & breakfast basis.

Day 2: Nairobi -Rafiki Mwema
After the Great Breakfast from your Hotel, you will be transferred to the Rafiki Mwema Organization to experience the life of Girls who are victims of sexual abuse and street children in Kenya. At Rafiki Mwema, they help Girls to understand their frightening experiences and to allow them to know that they are not to blame. While they are here, girls get medical attention, supports through their court cases, Education therapy and warm, loving, playful and empathic environments. You will have the full day over here, getting lunch with them and then we drive you back to Nairobi in your Hotel for Dinner and overnight. Sarova Panafric Hotel on bed & breakfast basis.

Day 3: Masai Mara
After breakfast we depart for Masai Mara, one of East Africa’s most famous reserves, The Mara consists of undulating hills and great rolling grasslands that sustain some of the most varied wildlife in Africa, if not the world. Arrive in time for lunch at Mara Acacia camp or similar.
Afternoon game viewing, where lion, elephant, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, gazelle and other plains game abound, not forgetting the hundreds of species of birds.

Day 4: Masai Mara Full Day Game Drive
Two full days dedicated to game spotting in this sprawling reserve. You can watch a lion, cheetah or leopard hunting or feast on its kill. The option of a hot-air balloon ride that starts at 06.00 am and ends with a Champagne breakfast on the plains. What an exhilarating experience! All meals and overnight at the Mara Acacia camp or similar.

Day 5: Maasai Mara | Musoma- Serengeti
We leave the campsite and drive through the southern part of the reserve viewing game as we proceed to the Tanzanian border at Isebania / Sirari. In Tanzania, we drive to Nyati Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park Full Game Drive
After Great breakfast at our camp, we will have a full day game drive. Then we drive to the northern part of Serengeti for Migration viewing with a picnic lunch. The next day is also reserved for a full day of game viewing activities. Dinner and overnight stay at Nyati Tented camp.
Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th worldwide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle.

Day 7: Serengeti –Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Olduvai Gorge
We view the game as we drive southeast up into the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stopover at The Olduvai Gorge with picnic lunch en route. We spend the night at the Rhino Lodge at the crater rim.
The Olduvai Gorge cuts through rock beds layered in time sequence from 2 million years ago to the present and it is here where humanoid bones have been found dating back to over 1.75 million years including a direct ancestor of modern man. Fossil footprints (over three million years old) have also been found here and are the most ancient footprints yet discovered.
There is an excellent site museum where you can explore the diggings with a guide and it is also a great place to view birds such as the purple grenadier, red and yellow barbet, speckle fronted weaver and slaty coloured boubou. Overnight at Rhino Lodge

Day 8: Ngorongoro- Crater Tour
After the great Breakfast then descends into the crater for a full day crater tour with packed lunches. Ascend the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay at Rhino Lodge. The Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is the main drawcard for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is home of Ngorongoro Crater. It was formed some 2.5 million years ago from a volcanic mountain sinking due to inactivity and was initially thought to be higher than Tanzania’s famous Kilimanjaro. Then we will have accommodation at Rhino Lodge or similar

Day 9: Ngorongoro – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park - arrive for lunch at Tarangire Acacia Tented camp or similar after lunch, game drives in the park. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire acacia tented camp.

Day 10: Tarangire National park - Arusha- JRO
After breakfast, drive to Arusha for lunch then we drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Kampala-Uganda.

Day 11: Arrival Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, our guide from African Exposure will meet you and then transfer you to papyrus guesthouse in Entebbe for your overnight stay.

Day 12: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Today after breakfast, you will transfer to Kibale National Park through the lush rolling hills of the Albert escarpment to Fort portal town. Then have a short tour in Fort portal town with breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains of the moon. After that proceed to Kibale forest driving through the tea plantations. Check into your lodge for dinner and overnight at Kibale forest camp.

Day 13: Chimpanzee Tracking- Bigodi Nature Walks
After breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters to be briefed by the park ranger about chimpanzee tracking. You will search for the chimpanzees, and on finding them, you will spend an hour observing and taking photographs.
In the evening you will also enjoy a swamp walk in Bigodi, a place to spot different types of monkeys, wetland mammals such as sitatungas, baboons, and bushbucks. Besides, Bigodi swamp has over 200 species of birds including the great blue turaco, papyrus gonoleks, and flycatchers. Then return to the lodge for dinner, and overnight at Kibale forest camp (B.L.D).

Day 14: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Pygmies
After an early breakfast, you will head to the briefing area for guidelines will trekking mountain gorillas. Then rally behind your ranger for this exciting adventure with the gorillas as you hike in the forest. Once you have found them, spend some time observing and taking pictures. Later in the evening, you will visit the Batwa pygmies in their new communities. Then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Gorilla valley lodge (B.L.D).

Day 15: Safari on foot -Transfer to Entebbe
Finally, after breakfast, you will be escorted by an armed ranger as you walk in the park. Lake Mburo is the only park in Uganda where one can enjoy a walking safari. Today is the final day of the 15 Days Wildlife, Chimps, Gorilla Safari. Return to your lodge refresh and then check out. Drive back to Entebbe airport in time to catch your flight back home.
