Volunteering In Africa

Zimbabwe has faced political, economic and social challenges in the recent past, and the impact has been felt mostly by the lower quartile of the population, who have remained vulnerable. Zimbabwe has faced isolation from the rest of the world for over two decades, isolation from resources, good healthcare, sustainable conservation techniques, and an exodus of over 20,000 teachers from the educational system. Nevertheless, Zimbabweans remain a resilient people, whom if given the platform, can take control of their own destiny.

Our goal is to reintegrate Zimbabwe with the rest of the world, in order to build mutually beneficial partnerships. We achieve this goal by setting up international exchanges between Zimbabwean communities and organisations, with individuals and groups from other parts of the world. We focus on three core areas: healthcare, conservation, and education. We run programmes within each of the three fields, which are based around the country, either within communities or supporting national parks efforts.

The three main fields have specific programmes outlined below:

Wildlife & Environment Conservation

  • Veterinary & animal conservation internship
  • Wildlife rescue & rehabilitation program
  • Eco-schools program
  • Community & wildlife conservation: human-animal conflict management program
  • Education
  • Teaching and orphanage care programme
